Pecan Pie Recipe

I love pecan pie. I love it. It's one of my favorite things to eat, especially in the Fall.

Here's my recipe for pecan pie.

Pecan Pie Recipe:
1 unbaked pie shell
2 cups (200g) whole pecans
4 eggs
1 cup (225mL) corn syrup or glucose syrup
1/3 cup (65g) sugar
1/4 cup (60mL) melted butter
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp vanilla extract or 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
dash of salt

This one is really easy. Just put everything into a bowl except the pecans (and pie crust, of course). Mix it all together and pour in your pecans, making sure they all get covered in your mixture. Pour it into your pie crust and bake at 350°F or 180°C for 35-40 minutes.
 This was straight out of the oven. As it cools, it will settle.
 If your filling is still a bit runny, refrigerate it for an hour or two and it should firm up. Anyone who even remotely likes nuts will love this!
