Watermelon that Looks Like a Cake
This year, my husband didn't want a cake for his birthday. So, I thought about it, and decided to surprise him by making a cake out of watermelon! This kind of "cake" is perfect for those on a diet, diabetic, or who don't care for sweet things. First, I bought the watermelon as well as an assortment of beautiful berries. I bought cherries, raspberries and blackberries to decorate with. But you can literally decorate with whatever you would like to. Then I whipped up some whipped cream. Now, it's time to cut the watermelon. First, cut the ends off your watermelon. Then I put the whipped cream in a piping bag with a star tip. And I continued to cut off the watermelon rind. Then, I cleaned up the watermelon by leveling it and smoothing out the edges. And piped a shell border of whipped cream. And piped dabs on the top of the cake.
