This time in dressing up our sheet cake, we're tasting the rainbow by decorating with Skittles. You could also do a similar set up with M&M's. So fun and super easy. The first thing you need is a lovely assistant! Just kidding. But my five-year-old helped me sort the colors of the Skittles. There are five colors: red, orange, yellow, green and purple.  Then you need a frosted sheet cake. You can frost it yourself, you can leave it in the pan and only frost the top or you can buy it frosted.  Next, we took the Skittles and pressed them onto the side of the cake around the bottom in rainbow order.  Sabrina did a great job sorting the Skittles.  Then, we pressed the same rainbow in a diagonal direction from the first rainbow.  We continued this pattern up the side of the cake.  The final row stuck out above the top of the cake slightly.  But isn't that beautiful?  Next, I made a flower in every corner.
