Dress up a Sheet Cake: Microphone Cake
This cake is to celebrate my new YouTube channel. I have a new channel called Microfiche Microphone where I read old newspaper articles from the past and comment on them with our modern perspective. Check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCB4WmVqY3J2d_xtamYihKPw I frosted a sheet cake dummy with vegan American buttercream. I colored some buttercream pink, light blue and medium blue. I piped a microphone with blue and the pole with pink. I added lines on the microphone with medium blue and piped a border with pink. I piped sound waves on the side with pink, starting with a top line. Then added a bottom line mirroring the top line and filled it with more pink. I smoothed it with a spatula. And I added lines into the sound waves to make it look more like sound waves. And I piped some music notes on top. Please check out my new project. It's really fun.
