Recipe: Soft and Chewy Brownies

Brownies are a great American recipe. No collection of American recipes should be without it. Here's my favorite recipe.

Soft and Chewy Brownies:
3/4 cup (185g) melted butter
1 1/2 cups (300g) sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla or 1 1/2 tbsp vanilla sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup (90g) flour
1/2 cup (50g) cocoa powder
Mix the melted butter with the sugar.
Then add the eggs and combine until all the egg yolks are incorporated.

Add the dry ingredients all at once and mix until combined.

This is a great recipe for the kids to help with. You don't need a mixer and you basically just mix all ingredients together.

Put the batter into a brownie pan (mine is 7x11 inches) or an 8x8 inch square pan. Bake at 350°F or 180°C for 30-40 minutes.

I then used this handy cutting guide.
 And followed the lines with a knife to cut all the way through.
 These came out of the pan super easily and taste amazing.
 Indulgent and chocolatey. Delicious.
