Easy Buttercream Halloween Cake

This cake came about when I realized that we had quite a few Halloween themed sprinkles.
So, I made some four-inch round funfetti cake and frosted it with vegan American buttercream.
I also put some buttercream in a piping bag with this triangular shaped star tip.
I piped a quick shell border.
And I piped a swirl along the top edge of the cake.
I put some orange and black sprinkles on the top of the cake.
This is what the tip looked like.
Then, I pressed some larger pumpkin sprinkles along the bottom of the cake. And some bat sprinkles around the top.
And I pressed some green spider sprinkles next to the pumpkins. It's a little harder to see, but there are skeleton and ghost sprinkles in the piping along the top.
But this cake took very little time and is super sweet and lovely.
This kind of cake would be perfect for a children's party.
 Happy Halloween!
