Recipe: Banana Cake

This recipe is adapted from one I found on How to Cake It.

Banana Cake:
1 cup (250g) butter
2 cups (400g) sugar
4 eggs
4 ripe bananas
1 tsp vanilla extract or 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 1/2 cups (310g) flour
3/4 cup (170mL) buttermilk
 Cream butter.
 It's always more fun to bake with help...
 Add sugar to the butter and beat until light and fluffy.
 Add eggs and beat until light in color.
Break bananas into pieces and beat into the batter. Try to make sure the largest pieces are broken up.
 Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk.
 Bake at 325°F or 160°C for 35-45 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
 This cake is super moist and still light and fluffy. Absolutely delicious for anyone who likes bananas.
