Recipe: Chocolate Dipped Unicorn Cookies

These were for my daughter's class to celebrate her ninth birthday.

Chocolate Dipped Unicorn Cookies:
3 1/3 cups (400g) flour
1 cup (100g) sugar
pinch of salt
1 cup (250g) butter
1 tsp vanilla extract or 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
1/2 - 1 cup (120-240mL) milk for consistency
about 200g of chocolate for dipping or piping
blue and purple food coloring (optional)
sprinkles (optional)

Cream butter, sugar and vanilla together.
Beat in salt and flour.
Add milk slowly until you reach a pipeable consistency.
Split dough into two bowls and color them blue and purple.
But the dough in piping bags with a large open star tip.
Pipe some rosettes by piping in a circle 1 1/2 or 2 times around.
Bake at 375°F or 190°C for about 10 minutes.
Allow to cool and dip or pipe chocolate onto it. Sprinkle with sprinkles. Allow to set up.
These cookies are so pretty and really delicious.

They all disappeared so quickly.
Happy Birthday, Natalie.
