Recipe: White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies

These cookies are very popular, but macadamia nuts are hard to find in Europe, so when I saw them in the store, I knew what I had to do. It's time.

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies:
8 oz (225g) white chocolate
1/2 cup (125g) butter
3/4 cup (150g) sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract or 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
1 1/4 cup (150g) flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
Dash of salt
1 cup (130g) chopped macadamia nuts

Begin by creaming the butter.
Add sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, vanilla and egg.

Beat in flour. Fold in white chocolate and macadamia nuts.
Spoon onto a lined baking sheet.
Bake at 350°F or 180°C for 8-10 minutes.

These white chocolate macadamia nut cookies are sweet and chewy. They taste amazing.
