Recipe: Apple Crumble

This is an easy recipe to use up those apples on the counter that are getting too old to want to eat raw.

Apple Crumble:
6 apples
1 tbsp flour
1/2 cup (100g) sugar
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup (90g) oats
1 cup (125g) flour
1 cup (200g) brown sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup (125g) melted butter
pinch salt

Peel, core and slice the apples and place in a baking dish.

Stir in 1 tbsp flour, lemon juice, sugar, and 1/2 tsp cinnamon.

In a separate bowl, stir together oats, baking powder, flour, cinnamon, salt and brown sugar. Stir in melted butter.
Spread crumbs on top of the apples.

Bake at 350°F or 180°C for 30-40 minutes.

This apple crumble turned out amazing and pair perfectly with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
